Orders are not placed online—you’ll mail your items to us or drop them off in-store. Our hands-on approach ensures everything is handled correctly from the start. Instructions for preparing your order to mail or drop off are below.

We convert your items to digital files that you can enjoy on your computers, phones, TVs, and other devices. Once we have completed your order, you will receive your original items back, along with your digital files and DVDs/CDs if you added discs to your order. The files will be available via a download link we will email to you at no additional cost.

You can also receive your files on a USB Thumb Drive. USB drives are priced based on the total size of your files which we will know once we complete your order. We can estimate the USB drive cost before we start your order. USB drives are optional.

Each of your media items will be converted to its own digital file, except for audio tapes which may be converted into two digital files per tape if a tape has two sides of content.

For video tapes and movie film reels, you can add-on DVDs. For audio tapes, you can add-on CDs. Video tapes and audio tapes are transferred to one DVD or CD per tape, respectively. Movie film reels are combined to fit on as few DVDs as possible.

For photos, slides and negatives, you can add-on Enhanced Scans which is better for enlargements and more future flexibility. Music/performance CDs are converted to MP3 files by default, but you can upgrade to a WAV or FLAC file instead. MP3 files are standard quality and the most compatible. FLAC files provide higher quality and are lossless. WAV files provide studio quality, and are best for editing.

Return shipping (if applicable) will be added to your total. Orders are typically paid up front, though a 50–75% deposit may be taken if the job is difficult to estimate exactly. Any remaining balance is paid when your order is complete—either before shipping or at pickup.
